There is no God

I missed it because I’m moving out and I don’t have TV hooked up right now, but apparently this hero won the MVP last night:

Now, I know what you’re thinking: I know his numbers weren’t great, but Datsyuk is a guy who does a ton in all three zones and he carried a depleated Detroit team to the three seed this year.  It may not have been the greatest choice in the world, but Datsyuk is pretty deserving of the award.

Nope.  Perry.  Unreal.

I’m not going to waste my time outlining why I hate him.  Instead, I’ll copy and paste some old excerpts after the jump if you are curious as to why this is such a travesty.  I have said what I have to say on the guy, so repeating it would be a waste of time, and besides, I’m so angry that stringing sentences together is a grind.

For the record, too, IT IS TAINTED.  LET THE RECORD SHOW THAT IT IS TAINTED.  THIS IS CROSBY’S AWARD.  NO ONE CAN DENY THIS. (/is mostly just bitter)

I guess ‘MVP’ now means being the third best player on a team that underachieved  despite a good year from a budding star (Ryan), a good year from a more talented player (Getzlaf) and a vintage year from an all time great (Selanne).  You are so effing lucky that there wasn’t a clear pick and that you avoided sullying yourself in the playoffs (like Sedin did) by conveniently ducking out in the first round.

Anyways, here is a bunch of mean shit I have already said about Cory Perry that I will repost because I am an angry and bitter person. Continue reading
