Buying Low on Sheppard

Brent Burns won't be lonely in San Jose.

I had pretty much the same reaction as everyone else when I heard that the Sharks had traded a third round pick in exchange for James Sheppard. Wait, really? Another deal with the Wild. Okay, I guess. Then, I started to think about the actual implications of the deal, which has been killed by many.
